Share Your Published Work with the Canberra Writer's Club

Have you ever published an academic article, opinion piece, or feature on any topic?
We’d love to help amplify it. The Canberra Writers Club (PPIA ACT) showcases students’ published work on our website, allowing your ideas to reach a wider audience and spark fresh conversations across our community.
Why submit?
Publishing is just the beginning. By featuring your piece with us, you’ll:
Gain visibility among students, alumni, and partners
Connect with readers who care about your topic
Build your portfolio and strengthen your voice as a writer-researcher
What we’re looking for
We welcome a range of writing styles and subjects as long as they’ve already been published elsewhere (online or in print):
Submission Guidelines
✅ Popular academic article, scholarly op-ed, or feature
✅ Must have been published in other media (online/print)
✅ Written in Indonesian or English
✅ Older but still relevant works are welcome
✅ Send your work to (ppia.act@gmail.com)
How to submit (quick steps)
Email us the title, author name, original publication link (or PDF/scan if in print), and a 2–3 sentence blurb about the piece.
Include a profile photo and one-line bio (e.g., program/uni, interests).
If images are used, confirm you have permission and include captions/credits.
What happens next
We’ll review to ensure it meets the guidelines above.
Accepted pieces will be featured on our website with proper credit and a link to the original publication.
We may promote standout submissions on our social channels/newsletters.
A few tips to stand out
Pick a piece with a clear hook or timely relevance.
Add a short reflection in your email: What impact do you hope this work creates?
If your article is older, tell us why it’s still relevant now.

Send your published work now!
We can’t wait to feature it!
